The following is an overview of the MLS. For a quick overview regarding your own listing, please click here.
Welcome to ExpressMLSListing.com, the area's premier on-line home listing service. You are listing with the #1 top selling real estate broker in the MD-VA-DC area. The Broker, Gil Clark of Clark Select Properties, Inc., is Nationally Recognized in the Top 1% of sales nationwide. He is also ranked number 2 of the nation's 1,300,000 Realtors® according to the official magazine of the National Association of Realtors®.
We are members of several Realtor® associations and major MLS's over a large geographical area. Upon inputting your listing, you will gain maximum exposure to thousands of Realtors® and buyers immediately!
The MLS, or Multiple Listing Service, is an extensive database of homes for sale listed by Realtors®. It is made up of Broker members who agree to share their listing agreements with one another in the hopes of procuring ready, willing and able buyers for their properties more quickly than they could on their own. It is a system that is available only to Realtors® who are members of that MLS
There are actually several hundred MLS databases throughout the United States, but there is usually only one per local area. Many of the MLS's now share most of their listing information with public internet sites such as Realtor.com, which leads many people to believe they are viewing the actual MLS. However, the information on these public sites can be old and outdated and some Realtors® may choose to withhold their listings from the public websites. This is why Realtors® use only the MLS when searching for homes for sale for their buyers.
Real Estate agents have the ability to store their buyer’s criteria in the MLS system and can quickly pull up new listings to show. The result is that many thousands of homes sell quickly through the MLS system even before they are posted to public sites. By listing your home for sale in your local MLS system, you will be opening the door to thousands of buyers.
We will list your home in the Realtors® MLS for just $195.00 handling fee for the MLS listing. Other administrative fees apply. Mathematically, based on a 3% to 4% listing commission which may be charged by other Realtors®, you are saving $3,000 to $4,000 in listing commission for every $100,000 of the price of your home. Using a $500,000 home as example, you would save $15,000 to $20,000 in unnecessary Realtor® commissions.
Here's what to expect as you list on our site. The first page is where you will list your home's amenities and features. The second page features our popular marketing options such as for sale signs and lockboxes. The third page is the signature page. It is only when this page is signed and returned to us that your home will be promptly placed in the Realtor's® MLS thereby appearing instantly to thousands of Realtors® and their buyers.
That's it! List with confidence. Everything is quick and easy. And only 3 pages from start to finish! If you have any questions at all, please feel free to email us at admin@clarkselect.com or page the broker at 1-800-214-1401.
After listing with us, please be ready! Many homes are actually sold within hours of inputting. Realtors® already have their buyer's criteria in the MLS computer, and are constantly checking for matches. So upon your home coming on the market, they can immediately call their buyers to arrange for a showing. Your listing will also appear on public internet sites such as Realtor.com and Yahoo!, among others. (See home page for complete list).
Enjoy the immense power of the MLS. And, enjoy the savings of thousands of dollars in listing commission with our employee listing service.
Sincerely,
Gil Clark and The Staff at EmployeeListingExpress.com
